UNC-Notre Dame football match TV channel, how to watch and broadcast
If there was one place and one team that could distract from what North Carolina hasn’t achieved this season, it’s South Bend, Indiana and No. 11 Notre Dame.
The Tar Heels (4-3) face the first of their three ranked opponents in three consecutive weeks. If Carolina returned with the upheaval, it would change the outlook for their last five games which end with a Nov. 26 date at rival NC State.
“You could get out of here and win nine games and make the people who are disappointed in you really happy and come out of this thing really, really good,” said UNC coach Mack Brown.
The Fighting Irish (6-1) have never lost at home to UNC in 12 games. They also have the longest active winning streak against unranked teams, which has now reached 37 straight games.
Brown said Saturday’s game will serve as a barometer for the Heels in the same way it did last season’s game. Notre Dame physically dominated Carolina in the fourth quarter in their 31-17 win last season, prompting Brown to emphasize his need for depth to keep players cool in the final period.
“What we need to do is keep building as a program because obviously our goals (this season) have changed,” said Brown. “We try to get the seniors to have a good ending by having them participate in a bowl game. “
Saturday’s UNC-Notre Dame game will air on NBC.
