Time and time again, incidents of animals making “special appearances” at field games have found their way onto social media. After a cat hanging from the top deck of Miami Stadium during a college football game a few weeks ago sparked disturbing reactions online, now a clip of a wild fox running across the field during a soccer game in Arizona, USA brought a smile to many faces.

In the 30-second clip, which is now widely shared on social media, the animal – which broadcasters initially mistook for a cat – is seen running across the field during the Arizona State-USC game at Sun Devil Stadium. “By the way, we have an animal on the ground,” the commentator can be heard saying while trying to guess if the four-legged intruder was a cat.

“I don’t know if it’s a cat or not. It’s a fox. Not a cat, ”adds another commentator as the camera zooms in on the animal, which then runs towards the stands and jumps to the other side. The clip ends with another commentator calling the fox a “wild child” as he runs away.

Watch the video here:

Another clip features stadium security guiding the fox through a tunnel.

It didn’t take long for the videos to go viral on social media and trigger amused reactions among internet users. However, many were also impressed with the animal’s giant leap towards the stands.

When North Carolina faces No.10 Wake Forest on Saturday, it will be the first time since 1943 that they have faced back-to-back teams ranked this high. The Tar Heels (4-4) lost to No. 11 Notre-Dame last week 44-34. Their battle with the Demon Deacons (8-0) at Kenan Stadium should also be another high-scoring game.

The game won’t count towards the ACC standings, however, as will Carolina’s 59-53 home win over Wake last season, and its 24-18 loss to Winston-Salem in 2019. Non-conference meetings have been organized as a buffer for longtime rivals who are only expected to play once every seven years in separate divisions of the league. When UNC travels to Wake next season, it will be a conference game for the first time since 2015.

Neither defense should dominate, but play could be determined by which defense can make the most plays. So far this season, that has been Wake’s modus operandi.

“Their defense, unlike ours, forced a lot of turnovers and it was a huge difference for them,” said UNC coach Mack Brown. “They are plus-10 (in terms of turnover), we are minus-1. And that’s the biggest difference between these two teams.

Saturday’s UNC-Wake Forest game will air on ABC.

Two teams clinging to aspirations to win SEC West will face off in the SEC on CBS Game of the Week this Saturday. No.13 Auburn travels to No.14 Texas A&M for a showdown between the nation’s top-ranked two-game losing teams. It will be the Aggies’ toughest test since their then stunning overthrow. 1 Alabama on October 9. For Auburn, it will be the fourth game in a row against a top 20-ranked SEC foe.

The Tigers (6-2, 3-1 SEC) have a one-place advantage in the college football playoff standings, but the Aggies (6-2, 3-2) come out of a week off and play residence. Auburn, meanwhile, comes in after a big 31-20 home win over No.16 Ole Miss, which marks first-year coach Bryan Harsin’s best victory to date.

Texas A&M ended a three-game winning streak at Auburn last season with a 31-20 victory underlined by a team total of 313 rushing yards behind big-game fullbacks Isaiah Spiller and Devon Achane. Both players are back and are among the first backers in the SEC. But the Tigers slowed down Ole Miss’s prolific hasty attack last week and shouldn’t be too worried that Aggies quarterback Zach Calzada beat them through the air in what appears to be a clash. almost equal.

Auburn vs. Texas A&M: what to know

Auburn’s way to Atlanta: Auburn and Texas A&M are still on the hunt for the SEC West crown, but Auburn still has a margin of error. The Tigers could lose one of their next three games to Texas A&M, Mississippi State and South Carolina before playing in Alabama in the Iron Bowl on Nov. 27 and still potentially reach the SEC s title game. ‘they were beating the Crimson Tide. Texas A&M, on the other hand, must win their last three league games against Auburn, Ole Miss and LSU, and Alabama must suffer a second defeat in conference. In short, Auburn will still have a shot at reaching the league title game even if he loses on Saturday, but Texas A&M will need a win to stay in the mix.

QB edge for Auburn: When Texas A&M beat Auburn last season, the Aggies had the advantage in quarterback play, as then-senior Kellen Mond had 18 of 23 passes, threw 2 touchdowns and ran for another. Auburn quarterback Bo Nix wasn’t bad in this game, but he wasn’t great either, finishing 15 of 23 for 144 yards. Nix had two touchdowns in the game, but the Tigers were beaten 509-340 overall as the Aggies finished with 29 first downs at 16 for Auburn. But if Nix’s recent play is any indication, Auburn could have the QB advantage this time around. Now a junior, the former five-star prospect is playing one of the best football of his career, having made 76.8% of his passes in the last two games. Calzada had an outstanding performance in the victory over Alabama, but everything has been going well since, completing 51% of his passes against Missouri and South Carolina.

Texas A&M Rush Advantage: Texas A&M’s running defense has been strong in the last two games against Missouri and South Carolina, limiting both enemies to less than 100 yards on the ground. The Aggies, meanwhile, rushed for 283 yards and 290 yards, respectively, in those games. How well that success in the racing game translates against Auburn could be the determining factor in the outcome. Auburn ran for 207 yards on 46 attempts against Ole Miss last week and limited the Rebels to four yards per carry. But replicating that against the Aggies won’t be easy, as Spiller and Achane’s prolific exit at last year’s reunion indicates. Nix finds his passer-by pace, but getting Tank Bigsby on the ground is a prerequisite for Auburn’s success.

Auburn vs Texas A&M prediction, pick

Featured Game | Texas A&M Aggies vs. Auburn Tigers

With the Aggies saying goodbye and playing at home, they’re in a good position to keep rolling. If Calzada can make a few down shots to keep Auburn’s defense honest, the running game will open for Achane and Spiller, leading to an A&M victory. Prediction: Texas A&M (-4.5)

The man who appeared to reject a kiss from his date at a college football game in a viral TikTok has revealed the real story behind the clip after a huge amount of reaction online.

Sporting events continually prove to be a great source of viral videos online, with TikTok full of clips with millions of views showing funny moments and failing among huge crowds.

In September, several videos of a cat went viral after the crowd managed to save it when it took a huge crash at Miami Hard Rock Stadium, with the videos gaining a lot of popularity on TikTok.

The latest viral soccer crowd video to tour the app was originally posted on Reddit and quickly spread to several other social media platforms. The video shows a girl leaning towards her date for a kiss, but he appears to dodge it, prompting him to quickly return to the action on the pitch.

But after the video gained momentum and the couple began to receive a flood of hate, the man in the video clarified the story behind the viral clip in a Reddit post.

“Basically I’ve been talking to this girl for a while and we started dating about a week ago,” he explained. “I tell her that she should come to the Wake game since we are undefeated and we will probably win. She says yes. We go there with a group of friends, and we have a great time. Throughout the game, we flirt, hug, kiss a little, etc.

“We also do this thing where one of us leans in for a kiss, and the other person leans in, which is a joke between the two of us. So we do our little inside joke, and unbeknownst to us, we are registered.

He clarified that it had not been rejected and that they were only “playing”, adding that they did not know they were recorded. This explanation was also supported by the daughter of the video on his TikTok account.

Their posts were quickly greeted with supportive comments from readers who told the couple they looked “adorable,” calling the internet for making such quick judgments from the short clip.

south carolina football returns after its opening week, hosting another SEC East program Florida Gators for a night kick off at the Williams-Brice stadium this Saturday.

Both at 4-4 on aggregate with four conference losses, the Gamecocks and Gators meet after suffering heavy losses to enemies in the SEC. Two weeks ago, South Carolina was wiped out by Texas A&M 44-14 at College Station. Florida comes to Columbia after being routed by No. 1 Georgia 34-7 in last week’s annual game in Jacksonville.

Florida hold the 29-9-3 all-time series against South Carolina, with the Gators winning five of the last six games. The Gamecocks last beat a struggling Florida 28-20 in 2017, two weeks after the Gators sacked head coach Jim McElwain.

This week’s SEC betting odds, TV hours

Florida as a 20-point road favorite over South Carolina, with a gap of around 19 points on Sunday night. The line remained fairly consistent on Sunday, according to VegasInsider, with some sports betting favoring the Gators by 19 and 18.5 points. The Gamecocks are the SEC’s lone home underdog this week.

College football open point spreads, according to VegasInsider.com

  • Noon: Missouri to Georgia (-39)
  • Noon: Freedom at Ole Miss (-15.5)
  • 3:30 p.m .: Auburn to Texas A&M (-6.5)
  • 4 p.m .: Mississippi State to Arkansas (-5)
  • 7 p.m .: LSU in Alabama (-25)
  • 7 p.m .: Tennessee, Kentucky (-5)
  • 7:30 p.m .: Florida (-19) at South Carolina

The state of the Gamecocks

South Carolina was out of breath on offense for the first 45 minutes against Texas A&M, racking up just 15 total yards in the first three quarters. Quarterback Jason Brown replaced starter Zeb Noland and stopped the Gamecocks from going scoreless and under 100 yards.

Noland underwent “minor surgery” over the week off, but the school said the Gamecocks graduate assistant turned quarterback should be available for the game in Florida. South Carolina has been scattered at quarterback this year, with Luke Doty out for the season following the game against Vanderbilt and little experience across the room.

The Gamecocks defense brags about Jaylan Foster, who leads the nation with five interceptions this season, but South Carolina have been unable to keep up their struggling competitive attack in the SEC game. Against conference opponents, USC allowed an average of 33 points per game while scoring an average of 15.6 points.

The State of the Florida Gators

Florida head coach Dan Mullen is grappling with an opposite type of quarterback controversy in Gainesville, handling a tandem of Emory Jones and Anthony Richardson. Mullen pitched Richardson against Georgia, but the rookie threw two interceptions and fumbled once as the Bulldogs rolled over the Gators on Saturday.

Florida grabbed the attention of the conference in Week 3 when they stayed close to Alabama in a possible 31-29 loss. After defeating Tennessee on September 25, the Gators have lost three of their last four SEC games. That streak included two road losses to rival SEC East Kentucky and an underperforming LSU team.

The Gators boast the SEC’s third-best overall offense, but haven’t turned that production into points, placing eighth in the conference with 31 points per game. Florida is also subject to turnover, dropping the ball 16 times in eight games. Jones threw nine interceptions and Richardson was responsible for five.

3 Florida players to watch

Emory Jones, QB: Jones had started in every Florida game before Georgia and leads the Gators in both passing yards (1,417) and rushing yards (517) on long shots. Although he didn’t start, the junior saw the action in the loss to Georgia, finishing with 112 yards on 10 of 14 passes and 22 extra yards on five carries. Jones had the Gators’ only touchdown last week against the Bulldogs.

Justin Shorter, WR: A transfer out of Penn State, Shorter saw his production increase throughout his second season in Florida. Shorter caught six receptions for 113 yards and two touchdowns in the Gators’ shootout loss to LSU and led the Gators in receiving yards against Georgia. He totaled 50 yards on four catches against the Bulldogs.

Zachary Carter, DL: Carter was credited with 6.0 sacks for 35 lost yards and a forced fumble. The senior is one of the Gators ‘most consistent defensive threats alongside linebacker Brenton Cox, who totaled 6.0 sacks to him, including five in the Gators’ win over Tennessee.

If there was one place and one team that could distract from what North Carolina hasn’t achieved this season, it’s South Bend, Indiana and No. 11 Notre Dame.

The Tar Heels (4-3) face the first of their three ranked opponents in three consecutive weeks. If Carolina returned with the upheaval, it would change the outlook for their last five games which end with a Nov. 26 date at rival NC State.

“You could get out of here and win nine games and make the people who are disappointed in you really happy and come out of this thing really, really good,” said UNC coach Mack Brown.

The Fighting Irish (6-1) have never lost at home to UNC in 12 games. They also have the longest active winning streak against unranked teams, which has now reached 37 straight games.

Brown said Saturday’s game will serve as a barometer for the Heels in the same way it did last season’s game. Notre Dame physically dominated Carolina in the fourth quarter in their 31-17 win last season, prompting Brown to emphasize his need for depth to keep players cool in the final period.

“What we need to do is keep building as a program because obviously our goals (this season) have changed,” said Brown. “We try to get the seniors to have a good ending by having them participate in a bowl game. “

Saturday’s UNC-Notre Dame game will air on NBC.
